You want to be able to make that first impression, not have your hair make it for you.   Unfortunately, I have interviewed a few candidates, that when they walked out of the interview all I could remember was their hair. If you have bangs, have them trimmed over your eyes. You want to be able to keep eye contact with the interviewers. If one of your nervous habits is to play with your hair, pull it back. You don’t want to distract the interviewers. Your interview day is not the day to try out a new barrette or headband. Wear a hairstyle that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
